Youth Experiencing Homelessness Study (2023-2025)
About the Study
The Nevada Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) Division of Welfare and Supportive Services (DWSS) contracted with Social Entrepreneurs, Inc. (SEI) to conduct a two-year study to better understand:

the prevalence, characteristics and intervention needs of youth experiencing or at-risk of experiencing homelessness,
-
the current system supports and financial structure available to support youth experiencing homelessness, and
-
the system gaps that need to be addressed to better serve Nevada's youth experiencing or at-risk of homelessness.
We are pleased to announce the release of the Nevada Youth Experiencing Homelessness Study (2023–2025) Summary Report, following the completion of the study on June 30, 2025.
This summary report shares key findings and insights gathered over two years of research in partnership with youth, service providers, and community members. The study explores the unique experiences and needs of youth experiencing homelessness—and highlights opportunities to strengthen supports and improve outcomes for these vulnerable members of our state.

Acerca del estudio
La División de Bienestar y Servicios de Apoyo Social (DWSS, por sus siglas en inglés) del Departamento de Salud y Servicios Humanos de Nevada (DHHS, por sus siglas en inglés) contratado a Social Entrepreneurs, Inc. (SEI) para llevar a cabo un estudio para comprender mejor:

la prevalencia, las características y las necesidades de intervención de los jóvenes que están sin hogar o corren el riesgo de estarlo,
-
los apoyos y servicios actuales del sistema y la estructura financiera disponible para apoyar a los jóvenes sin hogar, y
-
las lagunas del sistema que deben abordarse para servir mejor a los jóvenes de Nevada que están sin hogar o corren el riesgo de estarlo,
Nos complace anunciar la publicación del Informe de resumen del estudio sobre los jóvenes sin hogar en Nevada (2023–2025), tras la finalización del estudio el 30 de junio de 2025.
Este informe presenta las conclusiones e ideas clave recopiladas durante dos años de investigación en colaboración con jóvenes, proveedores de servicios y miembros de la comunidad. El estudio explora las experiencias y necesidades únicas de los jóvenes sin hogar, y destaca oportunidades para fortalecer los apoyos y mejorar los resultados para estos miembros vulnerables de nuestro estado.
